1Information We Collect

We collect the information needed to operate ReachRole, including your name, email address, account settings, career target, uploaded resumes, extracted resume text, generated ATS analysis, tailored resume versions, cover letters, application tracker records, billing entitlement status, and support messages.

If you use Google Play Billing, payment is processed by Google. ReachRole stores the subscription product, purchase token, package name, subscription state, and expiry date so we can unlock paid features. We do not store your card, UPI, bank, or wallet details.

2How We Use Information

We use your information to create your account, authenticate your session, analyze resumes, generate job-specific documents, save application history, enforce usage limits, provide customer support, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal or platform obligations.

Resume content and job descriptions may be sent to AI service providers only when needed to generate analysis, tailored resumes, or cover letters. You should not upload documents that you do not own or are not authorized to process.

3ReachRole Apply (Chrome Extension)

The extension does not track your browsing. It has no background page monitor, no history access, and no analytics inside the extension. It reads a page only when you open the ReachRole panel on that page or click the toolbar button, and what it reads stays on your device unless you press a button that sends it.

Saved to your ReachRole account only when you click "Save to tracker": the company name, job title, job description text, and job URL of that posting, stored as an application record you can edit or delete from your tracker. Nothing is saved automatically. A job you view, autofill, or apply for without clicking Save is never sent to us.

If you are not signed in: clicking "Save to tracker" or "Autofill form" without an account sends the job description text of that posting to us once, so we can pull the keywords out of it and show them to you. It is processed and discarded in the same request — no copy is stored, and there is no account to attach it to. Nothing else about you or the page is sent, and this happens only on that button press.

Sent to AI providers only when you click "Tailor resume": the job description and your selected resume, in order to generate the tailored document, exactly as described in the AI processing section above.

Autofill runs entirely on your device. Your application profile is downloaded from your account and written into the form fields of the site you are on. The values you fill and the sites you fill them on are not reported back to ReachRole. The extension will not fill a password, OTP, CVV, card, UPI, bank account, IFSC, Aadhaar, or similar field even if the page labels it as something else, it will never overwrite a value you typed yourself, and it never submits a form for you.

Your ReachRole sign-in is reused rather than re-entered: the extension reads your existing session token from reachrole.app so you do not have to type your password into it. The extension never asks for your password and never stores one. Removing the extension from Chrome deletes the token and every local setting it kept.

The extension requests access to a short list of job sites plus the "active tab" permission, which grants access to a page only for the moment you click the toolbar button on it. It does not hold standing permission to read every website you visit.

4Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that help us run the product, such as hosting, database, AI processing, analytics, support, and payment verification providers. These providers are used only to deliver the service.

5Retention and Deletion

For a guest ATS scan, the original uploaded file is processed in memory and is not retained as a file. We temporarily retain the extracted resume text and scan result for up to 24 hours so you can save the result if you create or sign in to an account. Unclaimed guest scans expire and are removed automatically.

We keep account resume text and generated content while your account is active so you can access your history. You can permanently delete your account from account settings or contact us at contact@reachrole.app. Account deletion removes resumes, analyses, tailored resumes, cover letters, application tracker records, portfolio data, and account access, subject to legal or billing record requirements.

6Public Portfolio Choice

Uploading or analysing a resume does not publish it. ReachRole may prepare a private portfolio draft from your resume, but the profile remains private unless you review the visibility settings and explicitly choose to publish it. Resume downloads, contact details, location, employer, and other optional information are controlled through portfolio privacy settings.

7Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account and resume data. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use a strong password and avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive personal information.

8Your Choices

You can update your account details, career target, and tracker records inside ReachRole. You can also contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data where applicable.
